If you're new to Boston
New country, new city. A lot to figure out at once: the T, groceries, doctors, how school works here. A Beacon Buddy volunteer walks through it with you over a semester, starting the week you sign up. We also run Welcome Day events a few times a year if you'd rather start there.
If you need a tutor
We tutor math, science, English, history, computer science, AP classes, and SAT/ACT prep. Sessions are one-on-one, once a week, in person or on a video call. Tell us your subject and schedule and we'll match you with a tutor from Belmont or a nearby town.
